In Memoriam – Alan Nadel

With deepest sadness, we announce that we recently lost of a beloved and respected member of the PIPLA community.  On June 13, Alan Nadel, a leader in Philadelphia’s intellectual property law community and former PIPLA President, passed away after a battle with cancer.  Al was a founding partner at Panitch Schwarze Jacobs & Nadel.  Among his many accomplishments throughout his career, he was known for his contributions toward patenting the Super Soaker® and the Prince® extended tennis racket.  We appreciate Al’s deep commitment to our organization and advancing intellectual property law in the Philadelphia area.  Our deepest sympathies are extended to Al’s family and friends.

For more information about Al and his illustrious career, we direct to you to a memorial on Pantich’s website, linked here.
