The use of</div><div>"adwords" has accounted for $25 billion of Google's revenue in 2009. However, the use of adwords raises some</div><div>very difficult trademark law issues.</div><div><br /></div><div>For example, if Nike buys the word "Reebok," so that users searching for "Reebok shoes" are shown an</div><div>ad for Nike shoes on the Google search page, is Nike infringing Reebok's trademark? Is Google? Are</div><div>consumers "likely to be confused" by this use of Reebok's mark? These questions turn out to be a great deal</div><div>more complicated under current trademark law than they might appear. These issues are the subject of much</div><div>recent (and on-going) litigation. Professor Post will untangle these issues and try to help us all become less likely</div><div>to be confused by the legal issues involved.</div><div><br /></div><div>The cost is $35.00 for members, $15 students, and $45.00 for guests and non-members.
